In this new series, we’re breaking down exactly how our products work, so you can wow your friends with a little plant science. Next up: Recovery Mab Sticks.

What it does:

  1. Supports the body’s ability to fight inflammation
  2. Improves flexibility
  3. Increases mobility
  4. Reduces aches & soreness
  5. Tastes extra refreshing with a zesty lemon-ginger flavor

Key ingredients:

  • Cannabigerol Isolate
  • Ginger
  • Green Tea
  • Lemon Balm
  • Nettle
  • Turmeric

How it works:

Recovery Mab Sticks contain a blend of mentally and physically regenerating plant compounds.

Turmeric, ginger, green tea, and CBG (a non-euphoric cannabinoid) all support the body’s ability to fight inflammation-related aches & soreness.

Turmeric and ginger, in particular, have been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years.

Thanks to a reduction in aches & soreness, your body should be able to move more freely, meaning your mobility can be improved, too.

These four stand-out ingredients help support the body’s natural defenses to fighting pain.

While many people use pepper to improve the bioavailability of the turmeric, in this blend, ginger is an even more effective strategy.  This phenomenon of increased bioavailability is called pharmacokinetic synergy (or potentiation).

Lemon balm has traditionally been used to elevate the mood and encourages cognitive recovery related to memory, problem-solving, and attention. FYI: Lemon balm can also be relaxing when combined with ingredients like chamomile, as it is in our Calm Mab Sticks

Finally, nettle is a leafy green that gives the body and brain an extra dose of micronutrients while helping to support the body’s ability to rid itself of metabolic waste (a source of chronic inflammation).

Fun Fact: The turmeric we source for Mab & Stoke’s Recovery Sticks is organic and formulated to be water soluble (meaning it can be absorbed and used by the body immediately). We ensure traceability from field to factory and the manufacturer of this extract conducts rigorous testing to confirm potency, purity, and integrity of the extract.

Recovery Sticks in the wild:

“I was taking the Recovery Mab Sticks to recover from my workouts but I also discovered that they are also FANTASTIC for relieving menstrual cramps. I’ve always had painful cramps and have tried everything from Advil and Aleve to herbal remedies, but nothing has worked. I went from being very uncomfortable and in pain every month to being able to live my life and having no cramps at all! This stuff is truly amazing and I highly highly recommend for anyone struggling with the same issues.” — Dana L.

“I have been dealing with back pain for years. This recovery blend has been a total game changer for me. I am two months in and not a single flare up. Bring on the hikes! Amazing.” — Clark R.

The Stick Advantage:

Since our sticks include a powdered herb formula, the results “hit” faster (typically within 20 to 40 minutes) than they would in a chewable or tablet form since your body doesn’t have to break it down.

A Note on Sustainability:

All botanical ingredients in Mab Sticks are sustainably sourced, cultivated and harvested. We use organic ingredients wherever possible and wild crafted or ecologically cultivated ingredients depending on what part of the world a particular plant is grown in. Each plant extract  is independently tested for pesticides and other toxic contaminants. We are committed to rigorous testing at each stage of manufacturing to ensure that every Mab Stick is safe for you and the planet.
