It’s Happy Hour. Spring has finally arrived, so a great time to make some refreshing cocktails and watch the sun set with a fellow isolator.
This week’s recipe features a ginger blackberry and thyme syrup that is out of this world and good on just about anything. Paired here with Immune Mab Tabs, but delicious with or without any kind of Mab Tab, some seltzer water and big squeeze lime. Beware, you may have a hard time limiting yourself to just one, so it might be good to switch over to the mocktail version for the 2nd or 3rd…
- Cocktail Ingredients:
- — 1 T ginger blackberry syrup
- — ¼ lime
- — 2 oz vodka
- — 1 Immune Mab Tab
- — Seltzer
Instructions: Combine vodka, syrup (recipe below), lime juice and Mab Tab until Mab Tab is fully dissolved. Pour over ice in a jar or martini shaker and shake vigorously. Muddle 2-3 blackberries into a tall glass with ice. Pour in your cocktail, and then top of the rest with seltzer water and give a gentle stir. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
For Mocktail: This drink is amazing with or without the vodka. If you forgo the vodka, just add an extra squeeze of lime and more seltzer, or for a dash more complexity, try Seedlip Garden 108.
