A Turmeric Ginger Sour

This cocktail boasts a satisfyingly spicy kick from fresh ginger and turmeric and is balanced with the acidity of lemon. Belly warming from spice and whiskey, this concoction is utterly refreshing, as well! 

Cocktail for 2:

1” grated fresh ginger 
1’’ grated fresh Turmeric
Juice of 1 lemon 
2 teaspoons maple syrup 
3 oz Whiskey
8 oz Water
1 Recovery Mab Stick

Mocktail Switchup: Skip the whiskey, and add extra lemon juice to make this a delicious lemonade. 


First, make a strong herbal infusion with ginger and turmeric. Peel and grate your fresh ginger and turmeric and add it to a heat-safe glass or small pitcher. Pour 8 oz of boiling water over the herbs. Let the mixture sit for 20-40 minutes. Strain infusion into a jar or shaker. Add 2 teaspoons of maple syrup, whiskey, Recovery Mab Stick, and juice of a whole lemon. Add ice and shake well. Pour evenly into two ice filled glasses.

Garnish with a slice of ginger and lemon twist.
